Huge congratulations to our amazing Y7 netball team! They smashed it at the City Netball Festival last week, finishing in a fantastic 3rd place at Fenton Manor. With 5 wins, 2 draws and zero losses, the girls showed brilliant teamwork, determination and school spirit throughout the event. We've still got a few more fixtures to enjoy this season before the exciting PGL netball tour in March. Lots to look forward to! Well done, girls we're all so proud of you! #ThistleyHoughAcademy #CreativeEducationTrust

Our Year 8 girls delivered an outstanding performance in the area finals, earning a well deserved place in the regional finals after a day of determination, teamwork, and real competitive spirit. Facing eight strong opponents Crewe, Port Vale, Shrewsbury Town, Stockport County, Tranmere Rovers, Walsall, Wigan Athletic and Wrexham they showed consistency, resilience and real belief in one another throughout every match. Their journey to the final was built on smart play, relentless effort, and a brilliant attitude that never wavered, even against some very established academy sides. The final against Tranmere Rovers was a tense, hard fought contest, ending in a narrow defeat on penalties. Despite the loss, the girls walked away with their heads high, having achieved something truly special. Reaching the regional finals is a fantastic accomplishment and a moment of real pride for our school. Their success sets a brilliant example for everyone. #ThistleyHoughAcademy #CreativeEducationTrust
